Founded in 2014 by Dr Valeria Troillet, Radiologie de la Côte is an innovative radiology clinic based in the centre of Nyon, next to the railway station. To make life easier for patients, it has free parking and easy access for people with reduced mobility.
The institute offers all the latest conventional radiological examinations, such as magnetic resonance imaging, radiography, scanning, ultrasound, mammography, and bone densitometry tests. As well as producing diagnostic images, the centre is well-known in the Lake Geneva region for interventional radiology. This specialisation allows intervention inside the body in a minimally invasive way with the visualisation of lesions by radioscopy, scanner or ultrasound. The radiologist can carry out a variety of procedures including taking biopsies, inserting catheters and injecting clot-dissolving medicines. Many chronic or acute pains, such as back pain or herniated discs, can be relieved using this technique. This year, the centre is supplementing its range of expertise with new services for women's imaging. . This development was made possible by the recent arrival of Dr Bahar Popal, an FMH radiologist specialising in female and urogenital imaging along with the installation of the latest state-of-the-art equipment. At Radiologie de la Côte, each patient can access personalised care in a comfortable and friendly environment. The team is made up of around ten employees, including medical secretaries, medical radiology technicians, as well as two FMH specialist radiologists, Dr Troillet and Dr Popal. The doctors speak French, English, Spanish and Portuguese so they can communicate with all their patients. Radiologie de la Côte is a member of 3R – Réseau Radiologique Romand – which brings together 18 local medical imaging centres in the cantons of Valais, Vaud, Fribourg, Bern, Neuchâtel and Geneva.
